On May 13, 2015, Dr. Lily Gardner Feldman, Harry & Helen Gray Senior Fellow and Director of the Society, Culture & Politics Program at AGI, chaired a panel on the Armenian genocide entitled “2015 and its horrors : A century after 1915” at the conference Armenians and the Legacies of World War I, held at the Brookings Institution.  She also remarked, at the conclusion of the conference, on Germany’s reconciliation efforts with its victims, which were referenced throughout the day.

The conference was hosted by the Center on the United States and Europe at Brookings (CUSE), together with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Center for International Studies, the Hrant Dink Memorial Human Rights and Justice Lectureship at MIT, and the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, with several leading scholars of the Armenian genocide and other international experts.
