A Post-Brexit Path for the EU with Werner Hoyer

Amid continuing uncertainties after the UK’s decision to leave the EU, AGI President Jackson Janes sits down with Dr. Werner Hoyer, President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the European Investment Bank, to discuss the path forward for the European project. Although the departure of the UK is a tremendous loss for the EIB and the union, member states should work together to ensure an orderly exit. More importantly, the remaining members should take the lessons from Brexit as a reminder that to secure a future in an increasingly competitive global environment, Europe needs to change the inward-looking tendencies of recent years and come together more closely.
