We were honored to be joined by a top executive of the German banking industry who discussed with us the state of play on the European Banking Union and share his views on current developments, including the impact of geopolitics on the fragile European recovery, the ongoing debate on the role of monetary policies, both in the European Monetary Union as well as the United States and last but not least, why he thinks that the time has come to introduce some form of eurobonds.

He joined Commerzbank as Member of the Management Board Responsible for Corporate Banking of the Company in October 2001.
