Edip S. Uzun is a Master of Public Policy student at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin. Mr. Uzun holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the Free University of Berlin. He has worked as a student assistant in the parliamentary office of a Member of the German Federal Parliament and is currently working for Airbus.
Mr. Uzun is scholarship holder of the Friedrich-Ebert-Foundation (FES) and a board member of the Association on Migration and Diversity of the Social Democratic Party (SPD) in Berlin Steglitz-Zehlendorf. A publication by Mr. Uzun on the migration and integration of Turkish guest workers in Germany was honored in the German Federal President’s History Competition. He is a founder and board member of the German-Turkish Young Diplomats, as well as serving as a member of the Young Advisory Council of the SPD parliamentary group’s “Project Future.”
He is a 2019 participant in AICGS’ “Transatlantic Young Leadership Program: Giving Voice to Diversity,” sponsored by the AT&T Foundation.
