Breanna De Leeuw

Breanna De Leeuw is a research and development intern with AGI for Spring 2021. She prepares briefing material, manages databases, supports the research projects of resident fellows, and helps to organize and document AGI events.

Ms. De Leeuw is currently pursuing a B.A. in Journalism News & Editorial and a B.A. in Communication studies with academic minors in German and history. Her studies primarily include researching the communication processes among diverse groups, the mutualistic relationship between various media and society, and the history of the German language and culture.

Prior to working with AGI, Ms. De Leeuw conducted research with the University of Arkansas’ Fulbright College on the development of free speech laws in the U.S. and Germany and a review on race relations and discrimination against Black and Jewish peoples in the U.S. and Germany in the mid-20th century.
