How Sustaining Membership Works
The minimum annual Sustaining Member contribution is $5,000, not including sponsorship of the annual Global Leadership Award Dinner. The annual Sustaining Member contribution may be designated for any of the following:

  • General Support.
  • General sponsorship of one of the Institute's three core study program areas (Business & Economics; Foreign & Domestic Policy; or Society, Culture & Politics).
  • A specific program-related publication or event (excluding the Global Leadership Award Dinner).
  • Any combination of the above.

Member Benefits
During the twelve-month period in which its membership is in effect, a Sustaining Member company will receive a generous package of sponsor acknowledgements, access to AICGS research products, and special opportunities for professional development and networking. These include:

High-Visibility Sponsorship Acknowledgement:

  • Company logo or Individual Name listed on the AICGS website, with an optional direct link to the Member's website.
  • Company or Individual Name listed in the Global Leadership Award Dinner program booklet (in addition to separate recognition as a Global Leadership Award Dinner sponsor, if applicable).
  • For Sustaining Members who designate their support for a specific publication or event, acknowledgement on that publication or at that event as a Sponsor of the project.

Priority Access to AICGS Events:

  • Priority registration for limited-seating AICGS events such as luncheon programs, special symposia, receptions and dinner programs.
  • Two invitations to the annual AICGS Global Leadership Award Dinner on November 13 in New York City.
  • Invitations to selected Langhammer Luncheons. The Fred H. Langhammer Luncheon Series was launched in fall 2005 through the support of AICGS Co-Chair Mr. Fred H. Langhammer. These special luncheons bring together a small, select group of leading representatives from the German and American corporate, political, and journalistic communities for frank and informal dialogue in a convivial setting.

Complete Access to all current and past AICGS Publications:

  • A copy of every AICGS publication produced during the membership year
  • Upon request, complimentary copies of all current and past AICGS Policy Reports; Issue Briefs, Working Papers and German-American Issues (subject to availability).
  • Regular updates from AICGS on planned and upcoming research topics and special initiatives.
