Issue Brief 27

Finding a balance between secular education and teaching the lessons found in religion is quite difficult, as experienced by public school systems in both Germany and the U.S. In Issue Brief 27, Rolf Schieder of Humboldt University examines religious education and analyzes the German and American educational systems, focusing on the question of how to best develop religious literacy without alienating any of the wide range of interested parties in this debate.
