AICGS is pleased to announce that Mr. Stanley H. Watters will be joining the Institute as Director of Development and External Communications as of March 22, 2007.

His fundraising responsibilities will include coordination and oversight for the annual fund, special events - including the Global Leadership Award Dinner - major gifts, corporate and foundation donations, prospect research, and an upcoming multi-million dollar Endowment Campaign.

Stan will also assume communications responsibilities, which include the coordination of the Institute's external relations and the media.

Stan brings significant experience in fundraising to AICGS. Most recently, he served as Development Director for the School of International Service at American University. Prior to that he was Vice President for Development at the National Building Museum and Senior Vice President for Development and Corporate Relations at the Urban Land Institute, both of which are located in Washington, D.C.  In his extensive career, Stan has directed fundraising efforts in the U.S. and Europe, as well as in Asia and Latin America.
