Mr. Ingo Rollwagen
Ingo Rollwagen is a senior analyst at Deutsche Bank Research, Deutsche Bank's think-tank for economic, financial, and societal trends. He currently is analyzing MacroTrends, conducting corporate foresight research, and providing strategic support for decision-makers at Deutsche Bank. He also is monitoring education markets and systems worldwide, exploring future potentials of different industries in the knowledge economy, and new facets of customer behavior.
Before joining Deutsche Bank Research, Mr. Rollwagen worked for several years at DaimlerChrysler´s Society and Technology Research Group in Berlin. With his background in foresight, he has served as an expert for several different governments assessing future technological, societal, and economical developments.
Mr. Rollwagen has an academic background in sociology, strategic communication and business administration (M.A. Freie Universität Berlin). He wrote his master's thesis on the planning of the European Commission's communication campaign accompanying the introduction of the Euro. He is currently working on finishing his doctorate in sociology with his thesis on "Temporal Logics and Synchronizations in Innovation Processes." In this doctoral thesis, he has been scrutinizing how the evolution of Virtual Reality technologies has been shaped by the timing of heterogeneous actors (Technische Universität Berlin/Innoversity Research Group Berlin).
During his stay at the AICGS, Mr. Rollwagen will analyze some facets of the American education systems and the structure and functioning of markets for educational services in the United States.
