Manuel Kilian serves as the Senior Manager to the President of the Federation of German Industries (BDI), a lobby organization that represents 100,000 businesses with 8,000,000 employees. In this position, Manuel is responsible for coordinating the strategy and the agenda of BDI’s President both within the organization and with external actors. Prior to this, he was in charge of assessing the European policy agenda and gained additional professional experience at the Cabinet Office, Deutsche Bank and the UN Environmental Programme.

Manuel holds an MPhil in Public Policy from the University of Cambridge and a BA in European Studies from Maastricht University and Sciences Po Paris. He is passionate about the digital transformation and its impact on society and economics.
