Jeff Werner is General Manager for International and Public Policy in Daimler’s External Affairs office in Washington. In this role, he manages the company’s international government affairs for US, Mexico and Canada, as well as overall public policy coordination. Werner joined the DaimlerChrysler Corporation as Manager for International Government Affairs in 2005. Prior to joining Daimler, Werner served as the Executive Director of the Transatlantic Business Dialogue (TABD) US Office from 2003 to 2005. He joined the TABD in 1999 as its Deputy Director and worked under the TABD chairmanships of The Coca-Cola Company, the Boeing Company, PricewaterhouseCoopers, United Technologies Corporation and the Xerox Corporation. Werner previously worked for the European-American Business Council and Organization for International Investment. Werner received an MSc in the Politics and Government of Western Europe from the London School of Economics (LSE), a BA in political science from Hobart College, and studied at the University of Bath (UK) in 1989. He currently serves on the boards of Cultural Tourism DC and the Northumberland Cooperative, and lives in Washington, DC with his wife Claudia.
