Langhammer Dinner with Gabor Steingart

March 22, 2016

Gabor Steingart is one of Germany’s most prominent journalists who first worked for the economic magazine Corporate Finance followed by Wirtschaftswoche. He joined Der Spiegel as a business correspondent in 1990 and was Berlin bureau chief from 2001 to 2007. He then moved to Washington and worked as the magazine’s senior Washington, D.C., correspondent. On April 5, 2010, he became the chief editor of Handelsblatt.

Discussion at the dinner will focus on the current political and economic challenges in Germany and across Europe.

This dinner discussion is made possible by Fred H. Langhammer, Chairman of Global Affairs at the Estée Lauder Companies and AGI Chairman Emeritus. As part of our F.H. Langhammer Series on Public Policy, this event will provide a unique opportunity for candid dialogue among a select group of high-level German and American corporate leaders, policymakers, and media.
