Marianne Schneider joined AICGS as the Assistant to the Executive Director in August 2008.

Prior to this, she was a research intern at AICGS. Her work experience also includes internships at the German Embassy in Washington, D.C. and the Ministry for Economic Affairs, Technology and Labor in the Free State of Thuringia, Germany.

Marianne is originally from Jena, Germany. She holds a BA in International Affairs and Economics with minors in French and Canadian Studies from the University of Maine.

Outside of work, Marianne likes to read and to explore the Washington, D.C. area.
