Ms. Lynn Van Norstrand

Lynn Van Norstrand earned her BA from Minnesota State University, Mankato with a double major in German and International Relations. As an undergraduate, she studied in Ingolstadt, Germany through St. Cloud State University.

After working in the banking industry through college and after graduation, she spent three years in Crailsheim, Germany. During those years she worked at the Army Education Center teaching math and proctoring tests. She also worked in the Army's Deputy Subcommunity Commander office, which was responsible for community relations between Germans and Americans, and worked as a translator for the Military Police.

Upon her return to the U.S. in 1987, she joined the Institute as the Assistant to the Director. In 1989 she became the Administrative Associate, in 1990 the Financial Administrator, and in 1997 the Financial Officer.

Ms. Van Norstrand is married and has two children. She is pursuing her MBA at The Johns Hopkins University.
