Holger Stritzel
DAAD/AICGS Fellow

Holger Stritzel is a doctoral candidate in the Department of International Relations at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). His doctoral dissertation, titled 'Understanding Securitization. The Politics and Internationalization of Threat Images,' takes a comparative perspective on successful versus failed attempts to internationalize threat images. As a DAAD/AICGS Fellow, he will be examining differences in the American and German perceptions of the images of modern rogue states.

Prior to starting his Ph.D. at the LSE, Holger completed a Masters degree in Political Science at the University of Potsdam and an M.Sc. in International Politics at the University of Wales at Aberystwyth.
