Jackie Pierson is the Finance and Development Coordinator at AICGS, where her duties include managing fundraising campaigns, monitoring German and American business developments, and coordinating outreach to German and U.S. institutions and universities as well as the public policy community in Washington, DC for potential cooperation with AICGS. She works closely with the President and Vice President on all matters related to the Institute’s Global Leadership award Dinner and development initiatives that promote the mission of AICGS. She also works closely with the External Communications Associate on the Institute’s social media presence.
Jackie received her Master’s Degree in International Economic Relations from the School of International Service at American University and her Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Political Science from Loyola Marymount University. She authored a Master’s thesis about the changing maxim on immigration and integration in Germany. Her research interests include immigration and integration, the Schengen Zone, youth unemployment and workforce education, and Germany’s role in the future of the European Union.
