This is a sweeping statement. 

If the media that report scandals are agents of social change, then the societies we live in are poor, indeed! It takes more than scandals to change behavior and social intercourse over time. And the media are intermediaries passing information along, not originators of facts. Let’s not shoot the messenger.]]></description>
